Staging System

All feature data within Qube is associated with an organisation. User accounts may be linked to numerous organisations. This enables feature data to be held on a 'live' production organisation, but also to be copied and edited within a staging system or training organisation. Within the Staging System you can export the 'live' production data for one or multiple hydrometric areas to a secondary organisation. Within that secondary system Organisation Admin users are able to edit the feature data. Once reviewed and quality assured, the data for one or multiple hydrometric areas may be merged back to the 'live' production organisation for use across all users.

Select 'Export from production'

Select your destination (e.g. staging or training) and which hydrometic areas you'd like to export.

You'll see a notification that your export has been added to the queue. Under latest job you'll start to see notifications on progress as the system exports different feature types. Once complete a green notification of success is displayed. If you are exporting a large volume of data, you can close the browser and return later (the job will continue in the cloud).

Clicking on the successful job, will provide a time line of the actions performed.

Select 'Merge back to production'

Once reviewed and quality assured, the data for one or multiple hydrometric areas may be merged back to the 'live' production organisation for use across all users. Select your source (e.g. staging or training) and which hydrometic areas you'd like to export.

You will get a warning asking if you want to proceed as this process will overwrite the data within the 'live' production system.

Once complete you'll get a green notification of success is displayed:
