You can right click on the map to 'add feature'. This will create a new site at this location.

Tip: If you search for a grid reference, you can then right click on the pin to add a new site to that exact location.

Feature type

Select the feature type you would like to create: - Groundwater abstraction - Surface water abstraction - Discharge - Impoundment - Complex influence - Gauging station - Spot gauge

Create a new gauging station

Enter the gauging station details and save. You don't need to change suitability settings, or add flow duration curves or time series at this stage, which is described in Gauging Stations.

Create a new spot gauge

Enter the spot gauge details and save. You don't need to upload measurements or select a gauging station analogue at this stage, which is described in Spot Gauges.
